Take home this beautiful table size sculpture, 'Morning Dew', created by artist Sun Yu-Li.

This stunning piece glows (when plugged in) thanks to subtle and beautiful blue lights.

Sun Yu-Li is one of Singapore's leading artists. His sculptures and paintings can be seen all over the island and in countries like China, USA, UK, the Czech and Slovak Republics etc. As a former architect, Yu-li has spent over 30 years studying the fundamentals of metaphysics, linguistics, topology, geometry, archaeology and philosophy. Yu-li's art have been described as “art of the mind” and his style “an expression of abstract thought based on metaphysical principles”. He has his own unique way of creating, inspired by the essence of the Universal Language: beginning with the dot, forming a line, then progressing to a plane, and finally into volume.

The Cause

Arts for India has been established with a number of specific aims to support underprivileged young artists in India.

While several philanthropic organizations are working towards education for poor Indian children, most of them are focused on providing basic school level education.

Arts for India lifts disadvantaged young Indian teenagers out of poverty through education in Art, Fashion and Cinema at the college level. Beyond that, they support these students, enabling them to make their contribution to the world of Art, Fashion and Cinema at a global level.

Arts for India runs a 4-year Scholarship Programme, where the donor/sponsor gets the opportunity to sponsor one needy student artist at the International Institute of Fine Arts (IIFA), India. The sponsor is kept in constant touch with the adopted student and at the end of the four years, the student presents four of their works to the sponsor as a token of appreciation and gratitude. We want to play our part in equipping India’s deserving artists of the future.
