Centinaia di migliaia di persone continueranno ad arrivare in Polonia, Romania e altri Stati vicini. La tragedia è aggravata dalle separazioni familiari. La maggior parte delle persone in fuga sono donne e bambini: le stime riportano che il 40% di coloro che fuggono sono bambini.

Ogni famiglia costretta a lasciare la propria casa ha bisogno di aiuto con un riparo, cibo, acqua pulita.

Save the Children ha lanciato un appello urgente per raccogliere 19 milioni di dollari a livello internazionale, per raggiungere almeno 3.5 milioni di bambini in grave pericolo.
