La Planète Sauvage, 2020

60x40cm

“La Planète Sauvage” is a 1973 adult animated science fiction film directed by René Laloux and written by Laloux and Roland Topor. The film was an international co-production between companies from France and Czechoslovakia. The story is allegorical, about humans living on a strange planet dominated by giant humanoid aliens who consider them animals. In this project, I am looking for a visual analogy between the flora and fauna of my land in Salento and the imaginary of aliens and other planets.
