This Naga (dragon in Indonesian) bracelet is handmade in bronze and is a traditional piece of jewelry from the island of Borneo in Indonesia.

It is worn because it is believed to have strong magical powers.

The dragon biting its own tail is an ancient symbol called the Ouroboros. It represents eternity and the endless cycle of life, death and rebirth, leading to immortality. It also symbolizes what magically existed before the beginning, that will last for eternity.

Ouroboros were important in the mythological and religious symbolism and rites in ancient times.

Dimensions: 33 x 33 cm

This amulet is part of a special collection of handcrafted goods from Indonesia, closed in splendid solid wood frames.
