Nicola Giuliano nasce a Rutigliano in provincia di Bari nell’agosto del 75 e, dopo aver vissuto i suoi primi vent’anni nella sua amata Puglia, per lavoro si trasferisce a Milano dove trascorre quasi un ulteriore ventennio prima di lasciare nuovamente la. Si trasferisce a Lampedusa dove ancora oggi risiede godendo l’essenza di quell’isola così piccola e così intensa.

Per la sua curiosità e l’indole per il viaggio, scopre la passione per la fotografia, rimasta tale fino ad oggi e che si alimenta costantemente di nuove emozioni.

The Cause

The Benedetta D'Intino Center was founded in 1994 from the dream of Cristina Mondadori in memory of her granddaughter Benedetta, who passed away prematurely. Thanks to a multidisciplinary team made up of 20 professionals, every year it assists more than 300 children and young people with severe communication disabilities and psychological distress together with their families.

The Center operates through two sectors of clinical intervention: Augmentative Alternative Communication (AAC), which deals with children with complex communication needs and which also includes a specific communication program for autism, and Psychotherapy, which follows children and families who need psychological support to deal with trauma or uncomfortable situations.
