Through the use of the human body, the geometry of the letter is humanized and interpreted. The letter D represents the tension of the gesture that resembles a bow. The media mix is ​​made up of three elements: photography, the graphic sign, the pictorial gesture.

Lorenzo Marini lives and works in Milan, Los Angeles and New York. After his artistic studies and a degree in Architecture in Venice, in 1997 he founded Lorenzo Marini & Associati, an advertising agency with offices in Milan and New York. Over the course of his career as an art director he has been awarded over 500 national and international awards. In 2016 Marini was inspired to celebrate the beauty of letters. The first exhibitions were held in New York and Miami, at Art Basel Miami. In 2016 he presented "Type Art" at the Palazzo della Permanente in Milan, leading a school of movement that saw him exhibit at the 57th Venice Biennale in 2017.

In 2017, Marini was awarded the Advertising in Art award. In 2019, the AlphaCube installation presented for DesignWeek was exhibited in Venice at the 58th Art Biennale, then in Dubai and Los Angeles. In 2020 he won the Mobius Awards in Los Angeles, an international competition award for the new Futurtype alphabet he created. In 2021 his anthology in Siena "Di Segni e Di Sogni" was the most visited contemporary art exhibition of the year, reaching 50,000 visitors. In 2022 he presented his personal exhibition "Olivettype" at the former Olivetti headquarters. In June 2022 the Gracis Gallery hosted the Alphatype2022 exhibition which presented twenty works by Lorenzo Marini. In September he inaugurated "NFType", the virtual exhibition dedicated to NFT Art, online until December 2022 at the gallery www.nftype.it
