Piero Maffessoli (Brescia, 1934) also known as Malipiero began his career as an artist in recent years, drawing on his great passion for cinema. Protagonists of his works are in fact the celebrity: the icons are represented in front of cityscapes. Malipiero creates collages following a technique of composition and decomposition of photographic images, wich fact are cutted into thin strips and reassembled crossing one to another, he create two overlapping images that have a trasparent effect and gain a three-dimensionality that in reality they don't have.
