The Prize
Fine Original Sketch in Graphite by Andy Warhol. Dated to 1978, it is executed in graphite on a sheet of ruled paper, ca. 32 x 20 cm, boldly signed by Andy Warhol. The sketch roughly but accurately depicts a repetition of three small unlabeled Campbell's soup cans. This is one of a number of sketches made by Warhol during the pre-opening of an exhibition at the Louisiana Museum of Modern Art, Humlebaek, Denmark, November 1978.
