During his long career he has photographed the most famous faces of industry (including Bill Gates, Marco Tronchetti Provera, Gianni Agnelli, Luca Cordero di Montezemolo, Lapo Elkann), politics (Francesco Cossiga, Carlo Azeglio Ciampi Silvio Berlusconi) , entertainment (Charlotte Rampling, Lang Lang, Rupert Everett, Zucchero Fornaciari, Roberto Bolle, Carla Fracci, Ermanno Olmi), culture (Carlo Bo, Indro Montanelli, Vittorio Sgarbi, Christian Barnard, Rita Levi Montalcini, Alberto Arbasino, Margherita Hack Gillo Dorfles), fashion (Giorgio Armani, Gianni Versace, Valentino, Ottavio Missoni, Miuccia Prada, Enzo Red) and sport (Roberto Baggio, Fabio Cannavaro, Filippo Inzaghi, Antonio Rossi, Jury Chechi). It was the official portraitist of Gianni Agnelli in the last 10 years of his life.

He was correspondent for the New York Times Magazine for eight years, he has worked for years with international publications such as Vogue, Esquire and Harper's Bazaar, and his photos have appeared three times on the cover of Time Magazine. From 1970 to 1975 he was Art Director of Italian Bazaar.

The Cause

The San Patrignano recovery community is a home for youth who have lost their way. It is a family that helps them find a life made up of self-esteem, dignity, responsibility and enthusiasm.

Since 1978 it has been and continues to be unique and the best at the European level, focusing on it's residents and helping them learn a trade that can be applied, and assisted from external support through online donations.

The San Patrignano community is alive with the help and support of those who have already had similar life experiences—those who understand the difficulties, hardships and exclusions. The community reconstructs the identity of people by strengthening the values of honesty, commitment, respect for themselves and for others, solidarity and interpersonal skills.

The community of recovery from drug dependency is also a commitment to a better society through various prevention projects: specific activities in schools and international events battling addiction.
