Portami per Mano ONLUS

Who we are

Portami per Mano ONLUS is an association of mothers and fathers who promote the inclusion of autistic and disabled children. More precisely, Portami per Mano Onlus aims to provide support to families with people affected by physical and mental problems, typically attributable to people affected by the autistic spectrum, to promote greater and more correct knowledge of this condition among public opinion, socio-health structures, schools and the world of work.

In collaboration with the local area and other sector entities, we offer various activities aimed at children, young people and their families, offering family members moments of aggregation, information and a listening space held by a psychologist. At the same time, it offers its members a wide range of social activities, with particular attention to free time and weekends: convivial evenings, trips, outings in the area and sporting activities.

Project: Inclusive Climbing

In many cases, climbing has proven to be a useful tool for stimulating psychomotor skills and emotional interaction. The need to have an intervention of total trust towards a third party (the instructor) and the continuous evolution of paths to overcome, lead the boy affected by the autism spectrum to leave his own area of safety and well-being, also helping him to become aware of their personal autonomy and independence.
