Olimpiadi del Cuore Onlus

The Onlus Olimpiadi del Cuore Association, founded by Paolo Brosio, at the end of 2015 health authorities of the hospital of Mostar and from the Municipality of Citluk gave authorization and approval for the project presented by Architect Gugole di Verona for the First Emergency Hospital of Medjugorjefrom, which will be a primary social and health facility not only for Christian pilgrims from all over the world but also for Bosnian Muslim residents, Orthodox Christian Serbs and Croatian Catholics.

At a time of great tensions all over the world due to conflicts between different ethnic groups and religions, this new emergency hospital, the first in the history of Medjugorj, represents a message of peace and international solidarity.

The project is called "Brick of the Heart - Medjugorje First Emergency Hospital" - Name of the "Peace Hospital".

The symbol of the Brick of the Heart, sculpted by the great sculptor priest Don Silvio Zanelli of the diocese of Florence in Florentine terracotta from Impruneta (the historic stone of the largest Florentine and Tuscan Medici palaces), is also given to all the other solidarity initiatives that have been carried out in recent years in Italy and other countries.
