@labora

@labora is a nonprofit association that helps young people who have been abandoned by the school system, who live with handicaps or who are socially disadvantaged enter into the working world. It collaborates with local service agencies to provide job training, support to families, company mentoring programs and motivational support to company staff.

To date, increasingly more families come asking for help for their children who are not able to find their way in institutional schools. These kids experience failure, fall into despair and don't want to grow up and accept responsibility. They isolate themselves and end up on the road to depression or addiction (drugs, alcohol).

@labora opens doors so that they might rediscover their own value through work experiences.

The idea was born in Wyscout, a technological services company for professional soccer clubs. Thanks to the sensitivity of the founder and his collaborators, many young people in dire straits have been given a second chance.

“Everyone (absolutely everyone!) is an asset."

Requests to participate are increasing and more companies are joining the initiative. Thanks to this association, several young people have begun to live again.
