Football Cares per l'emergenza terremoto

Football Cares, set up by Italian football club AS Roma, aims to bring together the global football community to raise urgently needed funds to help all those affected by the earthquake in central Italy.

The earthquake has already claimed over 240 lives with many more injured and entire towns destroyed.

Last year, Football Cares, with the help of over 20 football clubs and sports stars from Italy, England, Scotland and the United States, raised over €600,000 to assist the United Nations, Red Cross, Save the Children and the International Rescue Committee in their efforts to ease the Syrian refugee crisis.

Now we call on all fans, clubs and players to help assist Football Cares in raising money to help the survivors rebuild their towns and their lives by making a financial donation – no matter how small – or participating in a charity auction.

On September 3, AS Roma will donate all proceeds from a match against San Lorenzo, the Argentinian team supported by Pope Francis, at Stadio Olimpico via Football Cares to the Emergenza Terremoto Centro Italia fund.
