Fondazione Insieme Contro il Cancro

Insieme contro il cancro Foundation will focus on a global fight against cancer with the aim of reducing the disease burden, undertaking research activity, committing to rehabilitation and social reintroduction of cancer patients and launching communication and educational campaigns for the citizens, on primary, secondary and tertiary prevention. In these years the Foundation realised important initiatives such as “La lotta al cancro non ha colore”, the first national campaign dedicated to cancer prevention addressed to disadvantaged citizens, particularly to immigrants living in Italy; “La lotta al cancro non ha età”, the first national awareness campaign on cancer in the elderly, gave rise to the project “Prevenzione e stili di
vita sani nelle Università”, the first awareness campaign in Italy addressing medical students.
Since 2016 with the project “Allenatore alleato di salute” whose testimonial is Massimiliano Allegri the Juventus football team coach, the Foundation has been committeed itself to promote healthy life styles among the teenagers to educate them to the fight against smoke and alcol, to engage in the physical activity and in the mediterranean diet, through the distribution of booklets and training courses during summer camps.
Our next objective will be to support awareness campaigns to draw attention to the quality of life of cancer patients during therapies.
