Era77

In 1977, following a visit to a center for the disabled, Astutillo Malgioglio founded the Era77 association in Piacenza, Italy to provide support to children suffering from muscular dystrophy.

Astutillo Malgioglio, born in 1958, was goalkeeper for Inter from 1986 to 1991, winning the Scudetto of records in 1988/89 and the Italian Supercup the following season. Malgioglio, championed by Giovanni Trapattoni - second in command to Walter Zenga, looks back on that time and that Inter as a wonderful time and the club, in turn, remembers him with affection.

After his retirement Malgioglio decided to dedicated all his energy to others. He says of himself: "I have always been a man of faith, my instinct to spend time with others, among those in need, comes from the heart. Playing and winning in Serie A was just a starter, this is my true calling".

Malgioglio, who has kept a low profile over the years, now says "the fans have always loved me". Now the time has come to help him to help the children.

During the Hall of Fame awards ceremony, held at the Inter-Chievo match, the first BUU (Brothers Universally United) Prize was awarded to Astutillo for his commitment to integration.
