Centro Studi Borgogna per "Il Sogno di Ale"

The Borgogna Study Center, a Milanese cultural association, has an important solidarity objective: to support research in the Pediatric Oncology field through fundraising activities. So, in 2017, taking inspiration from an idea of President of the Study Center Fabrizio Ventimiglia, the charity event "A Game for Research" was created, and has now reached its fourth edition.

The project has so far raised over 100,000.00 Euros, which have been entirely donated to the Department of Pediatric Oncology of the National Cancer Institute of Milan, thanks to the support of the non-profit organization "Il Sogno di Ale" which has been supporting research on Ewing's sarcoma for many years.

The initiative is divided into three days which include a Gala dinner with prize lottery, organized with the support of leading partners from the business world, followed by a mixed doubles Tennis tournament.

This year, due to Coronavirus, the Gala dinner and lottery will not be held, and the sports competition will take place on one day, Saturday 19 September at the Sporting Club Milano 2 (Segrate). Registration fee is 60 Euros. This tournament is organized by the Borgogna Study Center with the support of Renato Vavassori's Vavassori Tennis Academy.

To increase fundraising, in absence of the Gala Dinner, this year BSC has opted for the Charity Stars platform to auction off objects that have been generously donated by some of the greatest sportspeople of recent times.
