CasAmica Onlus

CasAmica Onlus is a volunteer organization that has been hosting patients and their families who come from all over Italy to city hospitals for treatment since 1986.

Following the experience gained over 30 years in Milan, where 4,000 people per year are welcomed in four houses, we opened two new houses in 2016, in Lecco and Rome, bringing the occupancy from 100 to 200 people.

Open 365 days a year, our homes are located near major medical centers, like Milan's National Tumor Institute, Rome's Bio-Medical University General Hospital and the Manzoni Hospital in Lecco.

Hospitality in Milan and Rome is extended to both adults and children, with specially-designed rooms and common areas. Whereas, the Lecco house is intended for those going through a long rehabilitation period.

CasAmica is not just a roof over one's head: in all of our houses the guests find comforting, dedicated and supportive volunteers and staff to welcome them in a warm, familial atmosphere.
