Associazione “Centro Dino Ferrari”

Founded in 1984 by the engineer Enzo Ferrari, in memory of his son Dino, supports and promotes scientific research through the “Centro Dino Ferrari”, in the field of neuromuscular, neurodegenerative and cerebrovascular diseases, also thanks to the help of generous donors.

The Associazione “Centro Dino Ferrari”, was recognized as an Ente Morale with legal status (D.P.R. 21 November 1984 n.1035), and was established within the Clinical Neurological Institute at the University of Milan, Fondazione I.R.C.C.S. Ca’ Granda Ospedale Maggiore Policlinico.

Piero Ferrari, Honorary President, continues the mission of his father Enzo, today, so that through the advancement and support of scientific research, it is possible to defeat devastating diseases such as: Muscular Dystrophy, Spinal Muscular Atrophy, Lateral Amiotrophic Sclerosis, Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s Disease and Multiple Sclerosis.

"Centro Dino Ferrari" Association supports scientific research with particular regard to the development of new diagnostic and therapeutic methodologies. Since its inception, it has dedicated resources and energies to the promotional and financial support of the “Centro Dino Ferrari”.

It is also thanks to the contribution of the Association, through events and fundraising for research, that the "Centro Dino Ferrari" has achieved important scientific progress over the years. These results lead us to foresee further progress in the diagnosis, prevention and treatment of neuromuscular and neurodegenerative diseases for the near future.
