VIP4AID Limited is referred to in this Privacy Policy as CharityStars. On registration a User is required to enter personal information. The following Privacy Policy dictates how CharityStars will treat this personal information, while using www.charitystars.com and any other services provided by the Site. On registering the User is deemed to have accepted the terms of this Privacy Policy. CharityStars reserve the right to change this policy and it will be effective from the date and time that it is revised on the Site.

CharityStars takes reasonable care of the security and privacy of the personal information submitted by its users. It aims to prevent any unlawful or unauthorised access by other Users or hackers. Users must register with the CharityStars website and provide certain personalized information (name, surname, address, cell phone and email address) or the User can use their Facebook profile by using the Facebook Connect function. This information will be stored together with any additional information the User may provide CharityStars with, this enables CharityStars to provide the User with the services and any other services associated with them. CharityStars may also use this personal information to analyse use of the Site and/or to keep you up-to-date with other products and services, which CharityStars think may be of interest to a specific User. Credit card details will be checked by the CharityStars payment processing system provided by Mangopay. All Competition entrants are automatically entered onto our database for the purpose of conveying information as to status within or for Competitions, as well as for any future promotions or Competitions we offer.
  4. The personal information of Users will only be kept as long as necessary. CharityStars may, from time to time, expand or reduce their business and this may involve the sale of certain divisions or the transfer of control of certain divisions to other parties. Data provided by Users will, where relevant, be transferred and the new owner or new controlling party will, under the terms of this Privacy Policy, be permitted to use such data for the purposes for which it was supplied by the User.
