Win the fascinating double faced artwork by Marco Pettinari

This artwork of 2014 was made using acrylic inside Plexiglas. Its dimensions are 100x100 cm and is in excellent conditions.

Its refers to Dante's Inferno of the Divina Commedia, seing the Hell as a trasposition of modern life and what we are experiencing today. The intent is to actualize some moments using abstract images that try to evoke a feeling or a mood, somewhat analogous to that of the image told by the great poet .

Born in 1972, Marco Pettinari has always been interested in all forms of art, which led him to follow art studies and graduate at the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome. His multidisciplinary interests allow him to use different mediums such as painting, sculpture, engraving, photography, design, and artistic experiments, using various synthetic materials or recycled materials. In all these disciplines his approach is to take possession of the main techniques and explore the possibilities to achieve the aesthetic results compatible with his concept of artwork.

The Cause

The Mariana Opere nel Mondo Association began in February 2002 thanks to a few Venetian entrepreneurs convinced of the importance of returning the fortune they had received by helping those who have less.

The association obtained the Onlus title when it was created, and it is still a nonprofit, continuing in its path of helping people through acts of solidarity, assistance and charity.

The goal of this association is to rescue the populations around the world that suffer from hunger and underdevelopment—or who are in need of economic, moral and social support—and to give them hope for a life worth living.
