La Nazionale Italiana di Pallanuoto ha vinto quattro dei cinque titoli internazionali più importanti: Olimpiadi (1948, 1960, 1992), Mondiali (1978, 1994, 2011), Europei (1947, 1993, 1995) e Coppa del Mondo (1993).
Nei giochi Olimpici di Rio 2016 ha conquistato un importante medaglia di bronzo, battendo nella finale per il terzo/quarto posto la nazionale del Montenegro.

Il cimelio è stato donato da uno dei componenti del team azzurro, il centrovasca Andrea Fondelli.

In seguito al tragico terremoto che ha colpito il centro Italia nella notte del 24 Agosto 2016, Andrea Fondelli ha messo a disposizione questo oggetto per sostenere la Croce Rossa Italiana.

The Cause

On the night of August 24, 2016, an earthquake hit a large area of central Italy causing hundreds of deaths, injuries and leaving thousands of citizens without a home.

CharityStars has decided to help support the relief effort by launching a fundraising campaign for the people and communities affected by the earthquake. Everyone can offer support to those affected by the disaster, with donations starting at 1€.

At the end of the campaign, the funds raised will be allocated to Croce Rossa Italiana, the Italian Red Cross, who will use the funds raised to help fund their work supporting the communities affected by the devestating earthquake in central Italy.
