This auction is for a piece of blue carpet detailing Manchester City's club crest that has been used on home match days for the last couple of seasons at the Etihad Stadium. This part of the carpet has been cut out from the carpet that can be seen in the image of Sergio Aguero in the gallery!

It has been graced by City stars like Sergio Aguero and David Silva on a regular basis as well as some of the Europe’s top players visiting for Champions League matches.

This item has recently been removed from the Etihad Stadium hospitality areas as part of the re-branding project launching the new badge of Manchester City.

Manchester City have donated this item to support City in the Community

Conditions: The auction winner will be notified via email. The item is available for collection from City in the Community's office at the Etihad Stadium in Manchester. If the winner wants the item delivered, the winner is responsible for the cost of delivery. Due to the size of the item, delivery will take approximately 30 working days. The Cause

Manchester City's charity, City in the Community, has launched a new fundraising initiative Healthy Goals empowering healthier lives through football.

Profits raised will uplift the physical and mental health of young people by creating new community football spaces in Manchester, where the charity's youth-led programmes can also be delivered.

Manchester City is bolstering the Healthy Goals initiative by matching all donations made before the fundraising window closes in September 2023, pound-for-pound. Overall, City Football Group will contribute a maximum of £125,000 (GBP) to City in the Community through this campaign or £500,000 (GBP) in total for all City Football Group affiliated charities participating in the campaign (whichever comes first).
