Who we are:

we are a group of citizens, some with some without a stable home, we became an association to provide support to one of the weaker groups in society. 

Mission

Our mission is to the social reinvestment in the people who are homeless at the moment. We are active in creating opportunity for these people by aiding them in finding a job and therefore a home. We want to share the culture of solidarity. We involve citizens and institutions to reactivate a support and help reachout, for those who have become used to a very solitary and independent way of life.  

Our activities

Street Unity: groups of volunteers distribute blankets, clothing and other necesseties to those who live in the street. This activity gives the association a first contact with these people, building a relationship and to take action: direct them to shelter, get healthcare, etc.

Dinner in Piazza Affari: every Sunday night in Piazza Affari we provide home cooked meals prepared by the volunteers and offered to those without homes.

Collaborating with Institutions: in the 2012/2013 winter we collaborated with the Comune di Milano for the cold weather emergency: 

- Sustaining the Progetto Arca e Doctors Without Borders in organizing an emergency dormitory in via Aldini, 

- Guaranteeing a weekly presence at the Centro Aiuti della Stazione Centrale and managing the mezzanine at the train station

- Offering services with two groups to visit the streets.

Burecratic Assistance: some of our volunteers support who needs bureaucratic practices (visas, douments, medical assistance, etc.) and with legal relations

Reinsertment Projects: we are activating a series of projects that aim to help the social reinsertment through the creation of job opportunities
