The Mutua Madrid Open celebrated its 13th tournament in 2014. The ATP World Tour Masters 1000 went from hard court to clay in 2009 and takes place at the Caja Magica. Rafa Nadal lifted the trophy for the fourth time in 2014, equalling Boris Becker's record of 4 victories at the Madrid Open. Real Madrid players regularly follow the tournament and the two times Ballon d'Or winner, Cristiano Ronaldo, is often spotted in the stands.

The auction winner will witness the ATP World Tour Masters 1000 tournament from privileged seats, the Tribune Player seats, ie seats usually exclusively for athletes and their relatives or close acquaintances.

The Cause

The "Associazione AmicidiSean"—FriendsofSean Association—was founded to support Sean Hadfield and other people with his condition. Sean is a 24-year-old man who, at the age of 9, suffered an irreversible spinal cord injury, leaving him in a wheelchair. Due to the injury, he needs 24-hour care, which carries a high financial cost.

The objective of the association is to offer people with disabilities the highest quality of life possible with all the necessary care needed. The FriendsofSean Association also commits itself to giving a percentage of its funds raised to the Hospital Nacional de Paraplejicos de Toledo in Spain.
