Riders for Health

Riders for Health is an award winning social enterprise, working in seven countries across Africa to help get health care on the road. Together with ministries of health and other organisations, they help manage motorcycles and four wheeled vehicles for outreach health workers.

These reliable, well-maintained vehicles are used to ensure health workers can reach even the most rural villages with health care. Riders For Health provide maintenance and management of these vehicles, and training for health workers on safe riding, driving and maintenance. The charity is currently helping to reach over 14 million people across Africa with health care.

Riders for Health is the official charity of the Federation International de Motocyclisme (FIM) and MotoGP. Riders for Health organises fundraising events around the world to coincide with races. The largest of these is Day of Champions, an annual event before the British MotoGP.
